Our Story
It all started in high school debate class junior year. Dara was smitten by a boisterous lad who could crack a smile on anyone’s face with his jokes and vivacious personality. His beiber swooshed blonde hair and top regional ranking in debate elicited fond feelings in her; she thought “aye, a cute bloke and a canny challenge.” Safe to say, he lost his winning debate streak after that. ;)
George found Dara to be quite bonnie as well and courted her to the premiere of Breaking Dawn part II for their very first date. Team Edward or Jacob quickly turned to team George for the wee lassie. They would often sneak out at night to blether and cuddle under the stars at the helipad or “the lights”, a spot that overlooked the city.
The Beginning
The high school sweethearts then became long distance lovers during college with George at Auburn and Dara at Duke. It was a long four years of yearning for one another, but as the Scots say, “Whit’s fur ye’ll no go by ye” (What’s for you will not go by you). Lucky for the lad and lassie, they even got to spend a semester abroad adventuring together in Australia.
After graduating, Dara wanted to move to Seattle. “Dinna fash, Sassenach!”, George followed without hesitation. Their love grew as they began planting their roots in the PNW. Not long after, his burd became his fiancé when he asked for her hand on a romantic getaway in Vancouver.
The Middle

The worldly adventures and shenanigans continue with the couple and their three fur bairns (Mr. Bub, Madame Puff, & Moose). D&G are absolutely ecstatic to tie the knot with all of their loved ones in Scotland!! ᡣ𐭩
